Chris Evans debuts his spin on Buzz Lightyear, the space ranger from the Toy Story franchise many of us have grown up with. In this new spin off, the movie is based on the movie Andy watched and, where the Buzz toys came from.
Buzz is exploring space with his awesome best friend, Alisha Hawthorne (Uzo Aduba) when they get stuck on a planet and must remain there until a new formula for hyperspace fuel can be created. Buzz ends up making some new friends after Zurg’s (Josh Browlin) ship appears above their space station. With the help of Mo (Taika Waitti), Darby (Dale Soules), and Izzy (Keke Palmer), Buzz hopes they can destroy Zurg’s ship and figure out how to make more hyperspace fuel.
My favorite character by far, is Buzz’s cat, is Sox (Peter Sohn). Sox really steals the show and any scene he is in my attention was just focused on him. I would love a movie or tv series that is just based on him, I honestly couldn’t get enough!
This movie is entertaining and I think kids will like it, especially if they love Toy Story and all things Pixar. Make sure you stay through the entire credits There are three after credit scenes.
