'The Croods: A New Age' is in theaters November 25th, 2020.
The Croods haven't been on anyones mind for several years now, so it was a surprise to see a new Croods film was coming to the scene. You may think this is just a cash grab, while it probably is, that doesn't make this film not enjoyable for everyone in the family.
The Croods need a new place to live. So, the first prehistoric family sets off into the world in search of a safer place to call home. When they discover an idyllic walled-in paradise that meets all their needs, they think their problems are solved … except for one thing. Another family already lives there: the Bettermans.
The Bettermans (emphasis on the “better”)—with their elaborate tree house, amazing inventions and irrigated acres of fresh produce—are a couple of steps above the Croods on the evolutionary ladder. When they take the Croods in as the world’s first houseguests, it isn’t long before tensions escalate between the cave family and the modern family.
Just when all seems lost, a new threat will propel both families on an epic adventure outside the safety of the wall, one that will force them to embrace their differences, draw strength from each other and forge a future together.
The voice actors, including Nicolas Cage, Emma Stone, and Ryan Reynolds just to name a few, are what make this movie perfect for the family. They bring a lot of fun to the characters and make the whole family laugh.
The film brings a lot of colors to the screen, and the animation is playful enough for you to actually want to watch the movie, even as an adult. You will just get lost at watching all the colors on the screen, and the up beat nature of most of the film will keep you feeling good throughout.
This is a perfect family movie to watch over the Thanksgiving break. It has something for everyone in the family and will make you feel good after watching the movie. You all will enjoy the movie while having popcorn and sofa.
