'Unhinged' is a suspenseful thriller that takes a look at road rage and the effect it can have, how one act can possibly change your life.
Rachel Hunter (Caren Pistorius) is a newly divorced mom who’s trying to get her life together, on the way to drop off her son at school there’s and incident with another driver. The driver happens to be Tom Cooper (Russell Crowe), a man who’s wanted by the police. Events unfold and the Rachel struggles to survive while Tom violently stalks her.
The main character, Rachel, is not likable at all. They give her no redeeming qualities, and you question her decisions throughout the whole film. Caren was great in the role but I felt like her character was very stereotypical.
The movie was pretty suspenseful, but if you feel uneasy watching car chases I wouldn’t watch this one. I would say it’s pretty entertaining and a good popcorn flick, if you’re looking for suspense, give this one a watch.
