Spider-Man: Far From Home is in theaters on July 2nd, 2019.
After the epic events that took place in Avengers: Endgame, we were all left wondering how Marvel was
going to end Phase 3. Spider Man: Far From Home took a change of pace and went with a little more
emotional approach. That’s not to say there wasn’t plenty of action, but I think they found a good
balance between the two for this movie.
My undoubtedly favorite part of this film is something I can’t actually spoil. The visuals for this fight
were some of the best I’ve seen and felt absolutely mesmerized by. We’ve already gotten a taste of
Peter’s fighting skills in previous films, but this fight shows whether or not he can handle emotions in the
midst of battle.
There were certain aspects of this movie that were completely over the top, not very enjoyable, and
dare I say “cringey". They gave an explanation to certain events like the way you would see at the end of
a heist movie, except it was out of place and very odd. I was put off and slightly annoyed with the villain
due to this fact.
Overall the movie is decent. The only reason I would watch it again is to understand the very confusing
second end credit scene. Which by the way, there are only two of.
Rating: 4 out of 5
