Avengers: Endgame is in theaters on April 25th, 2019.
I didn’t love Infinity War. It took a couple watches to grow on me. The CGI was too much and it all felt very overwhelming. I went into Endgame excited but also reluctant. I didn’t want to be disappointed or have too high expectations.
Josh Brolin returns as Thanos - big bad villain, planet killer and father to Gamora and Nebula. The world is mourning after loosing half the population and The Avengers are trying to find a way to fix it all.
The beginning of this movie was like YEAH I’m so ready! Then it just feels very sad, everyone mourning, half the population gone, ect...very terrible stuff no doubt but it was just such a bummer. It set the tone for the first hour...the second hour was better but I still felt it was dragging, the last hour it really picked up.
I loved the females in this movie. Most of the best scenes came from the women and Brie Larson was a huge standout!
I think the ending was appropriate and it’s what I wanted to see. They definitely give closure to this 10 plus year saga. I’ll miss seeing some of these characters but I also am happy with the way it ended.
I will say that it was too long! I’m having a hard time remembering everything that happened. I think it could’ve been shorter. I did enjoy it though and I hope it’s everything you want it to be!
