Mind on Movies wants to share with you our installment series for Christmas Movies. Tune in each week to see the what the next genre will be and the picks for the movies.
Week two is moving on from horror to its exact opposite, comedy! I couldn’t include every movie and obviously there are some good ones I didn’t mention...onto the movies!
1.) Christmas Vacation - ok, ok I know you’ve seen it but it’s the best! Clark Griswald plans on having a “traditional Griswald family Christmas” but his plans are foiled when he doesn’t get his Christmas bonus and his brother comes to visit. It’s basically the best movie ever, watch it if you haven’t seen it yet!
2.) Just Friends - I feel like this is a lesser known Christmas movie. It stars Ryan Reynolds as a music producer who goes home for Christmas and tries to win over his high school crush. This movie is hilarious and I could watch it over and over again!
3.) Christmas with the Cranks - I included this movie because it’s funny, but also because it’s streaming on pretty much every platform. Starring Tim Allen and Jamie Lee Curtis, they decided to go to Hawaii for Christmas since their daughter was going away for the holiday. Little did they know she ends up coming home on Christmas Eve so they team up with neighbors and try to plan a last minute Christmas. It’s pretty funny, and I love the tanning scene!
Runner up, Daddy’s Home 2 - oh man this movie was super funny and filled with Christmas cheer! You can check out my full review HERE and see it in a theater near you!
